Cindy Johnston began her career as an artist in 1995 and is currently a member of the Federation of Canadian Artists. She creates abstracted landscapes and people, pure abstracts, and is best known for her many crows with personality. Most recently, she has returned to her love for abstract forms utilizing high contrast tones of a neutral color palette. She is fascinated by all things mechanical, and her new work reflects this love of gadgets below the surface. “Through striking subjects and bold colors, my focus is on interpreting moods through images; some are dark and brooding while others are bright and often comical.
