With an interest in both visual and performing arts, Jennifer obtained a degree in contemporary dance from Simon Fraser University (1993) and a diploma in graphic design (2000). Over the last 20 years, she has expanded her knowledge and love for painting through instruciton at Emily Carr, the Federation of Canadian Artists and through guidance of local and international artists. Finding Clarity Through Chaos

Jennifer will share with you her intuitive and exploratory process of painting. Using both reference

photos and memory to create her paintings she employs the use of form and understanding of

colour to depict her subjects while taking advantage of happy accidents

along the way.
